Job summary

Amgen in San Diego seeks a Specialty Representative to serve patients by executing marketing strategy, promoting Amgen products, and servicing accounts. You will provide current clinical knowledge and communicate benefits while achieving territory sales.

The role requires assessing payer access, building territory plans with the District Manager, and delivering branded messages through programs and medical education events. A strong track record in sales and healthcare familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Associate's degree plus 4 years of sales or clinical healthcare experience.
• High school diploma plus 6 years of sales or clinical healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact for demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products.
• Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate clinical and economic benefits.
• Achieve territory sales by executing Plan of Action marketing strategies and delivering branded messages.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Associate's degree + 4 years of Sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

High school diploma/GED + 6 years of Sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
