Job summary

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a seasoned Specialty Loan Operations Administrator for our Biltmore Corporate Office in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports loan origination, documentation, and closing while ensuring compliance and smooth post-closing activities.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts to process loans, review financials, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree inBusiness, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in banking, lending operations, commercial loan administration, credit analysis, or related financial services functions.
• Working knowledge of lending principles, loan documentation, bank operations, accounting concepts, credit policies and procedures, and various loan products.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documentation to identify risk and support credit decisions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to audit documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating loan origination, documentation, closing, post-closing, and portfolio maintenance activities preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and loan-processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Review loan requests for completeness and validate borrower exposure.
• Prepare, review, and maintain loan documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate loan closings, including signatures and notary services.
• Perform post-closing activities and monitor documentation exceptions.
• Assist Senior Credit Analysts and support credit review and underwriting.
• Manage appraisal and environmental review processes and reports.
• Monitor insurance requirements and ensure proper coverage.
• Review GAR worksheets and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Verify business information from regulatory sources and maintain loan files.
• Maintain organized loan records and collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts.
