Job summary

Zions Bancorporation, owner of National Bank of Arizona, is seeking a Relationship Banking Specialist for the Biltmore Office in Phoenix. You will support a portfolio of commercial banking clients by handling routine servicing, deposits, loans, and wire transfers, coordinating with Relationship Managers to deliver timely, accurate service.

Hours are 40 per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO and holidays, as well as tuition

Qualifications

• Requires a High School degree or equivalent, and 1 year of bank operations, customer service, administrative support or related experience.
• Preferred, but not required, at least 1 year of lending experience in Commercial Lending.
• Working knowledge of relationship banking concepts including products, terminology, procedures, loan documentation, and systems related to servicing client needs.
• Superior level of professionalism for a front-line role with executive leadership interaction.
• Exceptional customer service for maintaining portfolios of high-touch Business Executives.

Responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Manager(s) to servicing a commercial banking client portfolio, including inquiries on loans, depository services and bank products.
• Establish depository accounts, process loan advances/paydowns, deposit transfers and wire transfers.
• Perform service transactions such as address changes, check orders, ATM card activation, loan payments, and balance checks.
• Provide administrative support to the commercial banking team including data entry and loan tracking.
• Collaborate with lending and middle office teams to support loan requests and diligence.

National Bank of Arizona is looking for a Relationship Banking Specialist to join Arizona’s #1 Community Bank at our Biltmore Corporate Office.

Essential Functions:

• Work with assigned Relationship Manager(s) to assist a portfolio of commercial banking clients by handling all routine servicing needs including inquiries on commercial loans, opening and maintaining depository services, and other bank products.
• Work with our commercial clients to establish depository accounts and additional services, process requests for loan advances or paydowns, deposit transfers, and wire transfers.
• Perform additional service transactions such as address changes, check orders, issue/activate ATM cards, accept loan payments, supply account balances, and perform stop payments.
• Provide administrative support to the commercial banking team including document and data entry to our commercial loan tracking systems.
• Work with our lending and middle office teams to support expeditious loan requests.
• Work with the lending teams to gather all pertinent loan due diligence items.
• Perform all quality reviews of legal documentation, system data and file maintenance requests.
• Responsible for managing all loan post-closing activities.
• Responsible for managing all reporting requirements for the assigned portfolio.
• Partner with management and other bank departments to research client issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School degree or equivalent, and 1 years of bank operations, customer service, administrative support or other directly related experience.
• Preferred, but not required, of at least 1 year of lending experience preferably in Commercial Lending.
• Working knowledge of relationship banking concepts including products, terminology, procedures, loan documentation, and systems related to servicing client needs.
• Superior level of professionalism is necessary as this is a “front-line” position with daily interaction with Executive Leadership.
• Exceptional customer service is required in maintaining portfolios of “high-touch” Business Executives.

Hours: Monday — Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm.
