Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking a Sales Specialist for Specialty Chemicals in North America. The role focuses on accelerating growth in batch and semi-batch processes, combining technical domain expertise with business development and customer engagement.

Responsibilities include supporting regional sales, developing key customer relationships, leading opportunity identification, and crafting value solutions across DCS, SIS, batch/MES, instrumentation, digital solutions, and lifecycle services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field required; Chemical Engineering preferred.
6–10+ years in specialty chemicals, batch processing, or industrial automation.
Willingness to travel frequently across North America.
Strong cross-functional and sales-support capabilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as Yokogawa’s industry expert for Specialty Chemicals, including batch applications.
Identify customer pain points and translate them into Yokogawa solutions.
Support sales teams in pursuing greenfield and brownfield projects.
Lead cross-functional teams to design tailored product-and-service packages.
Build and maintain customer relationships and ensure timely issue resolution.
