Job summary

Nycom, Inc. in Acworth, GA, is seeking a detail-oriented Specialties Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Division 10 specialty construction, including restroom accessories, lockers, signage, and related components.

You will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, communicate with all Nycom departments, and coordinate with clients and vendors while interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Degree from a 4-year college, preferably in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and construction processes.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

The Specialties Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of Division 10 specialty construction scope, including restroom accessories, lockers, signage, fire extinguishers and cabinets, toilet partitions, visual display boards, and other specialties. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with contract specifications and company quality standards. The ideal candidate is very detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time and priorities to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Job requirements are as follows:

• Completing projects on time, within budget, and most importantly, satisfying our customers.


• Communicate accurately and in a timely manner with all departments within Nycom.


• Capable of understanding architectural plans and specifications; analyzing project scope; scheduling; purchasing; vendor follow-up; submittals; change orders; project close-out.


• Degree from a 4-year college, with preference given to Engineering or Construction Management preferred.


• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction processes.


• Ability to learn and use construction-related software and digital tools, including common office computer applications.


• Experience in construction specialties is highly desired.
