Job summary

Dad's Towing, a division of Guardian Fleet Services, is hiring a Specialized Transportation Driver for Madison, TN. The role requires a Commercial Class A CDL and at least two years of heavy hauling experience.

You will operate tractor-trailer units, comply with DOT regulations, and perform daily vehicle inspections while maintaining safety and punctuality. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and potential sign-on bonuses; annual compensation ranges from six figures to rewards for safety

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required for heavy transport.
• Must be at least 21 years old for insurance and driving eligibility.
• Two years of heavy hauling/commercial driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report on-time and in uniform.
• Identify availability to Dispatcher.
• Perform daily vehicle inspection and report issues.
• Follow DOT/Company safety rules for truck operation.
• Inspect tools and equipment for safety.
• Report any dispatch blockers promptly.
• Drive and perform duties interstate for towing/transport.
• Other duties as assigned.

Specialized Transportation Driver - Madison, TN

$1,500 Sign on Bonus in State and $2,500 Sign on Bonus Out of State

Dad's Towing, a division of Guardian Fleet Services

Annual Compensation Range: $104k - $130k

The Specialized Transport Driver will safely operate a commercial industrial carrier or tractor trailer combination with a GVWR rating in excess of 33,000 lbs. have at least two (2) years of heavy hauling / commercial driving experience.

• Report each scheduled day, on-time, ready and able to work, well-groomed and in uniform.
• Identify to the Dispatcher that you are available to work.
• Perform vehicle inspection sheet daily, identifying any mechanical issues.
• Responsible to follow all Company and DOT rules and regulations regarding the safe operation of the truck.
• Inspect all supplied tools such as chains, straps, and cables to ensure equipment is in a good and safe condition.
• Report any issue that restricts the ability to complete the dispatch in a timely manner.
• Ability to drive and perform duties via interstate for towing, recovery, and/or transport.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

• Commercial Class A driver’s license - CDL for Heavy Transport Positions
• Must be at least 21 years of age to meet company insurance and driving eligibility requirements
• High school diploma or GED (preferred),
• At least two (2) years of heavy hauling / commercial driving experience

Physical Requirements:

• The job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing. significant physical strength and stamina
• Ability to lift and pull at least 50 lbs.
• Good hearing and vision are required
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
