The State of South Carolina is seeking a Specialized Domestic Violence Agent to supervise a domestic violence caseload on-site in Orangeburg. You will build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external service providers, and ensure adherence to DV policies and protocols.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with DV-related coursework and may substitute with relevant military or law enforcement experience; active Class-1 certification is required or in process.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree with at least 15 semester hours in social or behavioral sciences.
• Substitutions allowed with an associate’s degree + 2 years military or certified law enforcement experience.
• Alternative substitution with a high school diploma + 4 years military or certified law enforcement experience.
• Must hold Class-1 Law Enforcement certification or be able to obtain it.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the first line of supervision for a Domestic Violence caseload.
• Maintain a professional communication network inside and outside the Department.
• Promote public relations within the local community and with service providers.
• Maintain knowledge of all areas of Domestic Violence supervision, programs, policies and protocols.
• Participate in trainings and maintain all requirements for Domestic Violence Certification.
