Job summary

State of South Carolina, Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services, seeks a Domestic Violence Supervisor to lead DV officers across Florence, Horry and Sumter. Office location TBD and on-site work only.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with specified social/behavioral science hours or an equivalent substitutions, plus certification as required by SC law. The DV Supervisor will coordinate community meetings and ensure professional oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 15 semester hours in social/behavioral sciences.
• Certification by the Law Enforcement Training Council.
• Preferred: degree in criminal justice, social work, psychology or related field with 3 years in criminal justice or human services.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line supervision to a team of Domestic Violence Probation and Parole Officers.
• Coordinate DV-related meetings and events and maintain professional relationships.
• Participate in training and ensure compliance with department policies.
