Your Impact
As a Technology and Data Risk Specialist, you will lead risk management programs to enhance the firm’s ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
You will oversee risk activities, ensuring alignment with strategic and regulatory requirements, and shape the firm’s risk posture with actionable insights.
Your responsibilities include executing risk assessments at various levels, engaging with senior leaders, and maintaining the risk register.
You will analyze risks, prepare reports, and support the development of the firm’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform, collaborating with technology teams to enhance its effectiveness.
Additionally, you will support issues management, ensuring timely resolution and reporting, and work closely with stakeholders across functions.
This role is based in one of our North American offices—Dallas, Chicago, or Boston—and reports to the Manager, Technology and Data Risk. You will collaborate with legal, technology, cybersecurity, ethics, and compliance teams to lead risk initiatives and mitigate operational and strategic risks.
Your qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, data analytics, user experience design, risk management, or related fields
- 4+ years in risk management, product management, information security, or related areas
- Ability to communicate security and risk concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills; able to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities under pressure
- Ability to identify gaps and articulate sound recommendations
- Knowledge of trends and insights in risk and security, with strategic thinking
- Ownership mentality, proactive contribution to broader initiatives
