Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Security Officer to join the Atlantic City team. You will answer calls, dispatch officers, monitor CCTV and alarms, and issue credentials.

You will investigate incidents, collect statements, and prepare detailed reports for management and legal proceedings. The role requires a minimum of one year in a security capacity, a high school diploma (or equivalent), CPR certification (or ability to obtain), and a preferred NJ Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience in the grade of Security Officer or similar capacity in the public sector.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain certification.
• NR Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and dispatch Security Officers according to situation and need.
• Monitor CCTV, digital alarm system, and issue emergency credentials to employees and vendors.
• Receive, log, and determine priority of information from Officers; prepare reports.
• Conduct fact-finding investigations by tracking and interviewing witnesses, collecting evidence, and preserving crime scenes.
• Take statements and prepare reports detailing facts; appear in court to testify on subpoenas or warrants.
• Evaluate patrons requiring first aid or CPR; notify Shift Manager of relevant situations.
• Complete special assignments for management as required.

Responsibilities

Assigned to security base, answers telephone, dispatches Security Officers according to situation and need. Issues controlled keys, access badges and radios to Security Officers and other staff. Monitors CCTV, digital alarm system and issues emergency credentials to employees and vendors. Receives, logs and determines priority of information received from Security Officers concerning their lateness, absence or other usual concerns. Prepares specified reports; assists Security Officers in preparation of reports. Conducts fact finding investigations by physically tracking and interviewing witnesses, collecting physical evidence and preserving the crime scene if necessary. Takes statements from individuals involved in security related activities and prepares reports detailing facts. Appears in court to give testimony on subpoenaed and/or documented facts contained in complaints or warrant files. Must be able to evaluate upon sight patrons requiring first aid or CPR. Notifies Shift Manager of any relevant situation or information. Completes special assignments for management and above as required.
