The BID actively collaborates and forms partnerships to achieve the vision for the Navy Yard neighborhood and supports the development of the Navy Yard neighborhood as a new downtown on the banks of the Anacostia River in Washington, DC.
The Navy Yard BID is seeking an individual to join our Special Projects Team, a group of detail specialists dedicated to maintaining the pristine appearance of the neighborhood. The individuals will play a crucial role in ensuring our spaces remain clean, safe, and hazard‑free by utilizing their skill sets to perform specialized maintenance tasks. This is a uniformed, at‑will position subject to a 90‑day probationary period. The hours for this position will be primarily in the afternoon, evenings, and nights. Occasional weekend, holiday work, and earlier shifts may be required to support Navy Yard BID events and operational needs.
