Job Summary
The Brand Marketing Specialist supports the success of the Schlotzsky’s brand through disciplined brand asset management and optimization, go-to-market coordination, brand infrastructure management, and customer journey oversight. This role is responsible for managing creative requests, translating feedback into actionable workflow updates, coordinating national and market test packout kit logistics, maintaining campaign tools and store-level details, and helping ensure brand touchpoints are accurate, consistent, and intentionally connected across in-store, digital, CRM, media, and franchisee-facing channels.
The Brand Marketing Specialist supports the success of the Schlotzsky’s brand through disciplined brand asset management and optimization, go-to-market coordination, brand infrastructure management, and customer journey oversight. This role is responsible for managing creative requests, translating feedback into actionable workflow updates, coordinating national and market test packout kit logistics, maintaining campaign tools and store-level details, and helping ensure brand touchpoints are accurate, consistent, and intentionally connected across in-store, digital, CRM, media, and franchisee-facing channels.
This Brand Marketing Specialist must be an organized, detail-oriented, and planful individual who can manage timelines, deliverables, follow-ups, and cross-functional inputs to support seamless execution for customers, franchisees, and internal partners. Reporting to the Sr. Brand Marketing Manager, this role works closely with brand, creative, media, operations, and technology partners to support day-to-day brand marketing operations, market tests, national campaigns, and ongoing customer journey optimizations.
This position is based in our corporate office in Atlanta, GA with work from home Fridays.
Essential Functions
Brand Asset Management & Optimization
- Submit, manage, and track creative requests from intake through completion.
- Collect creative feedback from internal partners and translate direction into clear workflow updates.
- Audit and optimize creative across consumer touchpoints, including in-store, digital, CRM, and media, to ensure synchronized and intentional messaging.
- Support customer journey mapping, optimizations, and gap analysis across key brand channels.
- Manage logistics for national and market test packout kits, including validation of deliverable lists and coordination of final sign-off.
- Maintain accurate store-level details for print, asset management, and campaign execution needs.
Go-To-Market Management
- Support GTM process ownership, cadence, scheduling, and overall project management in partnership with brand marketing team.
- Manage GTM timelines, deliverables, follow-ups, and cross-functional coordination to keep work on track.
- Provide brief inputs, consumer context, positioning support, and campaign or market test requirements as needed.
- Inform and translate digital and POS ticket requirements for brand technology partners to ensure clarity and on-time execution.
- Maintain weekly brand calendar updates and support scheduling of GTM activities.
Brand Infrastructure Management
- Set up and maintain Campaign Manager, including feed management from FRM to Campaign Manager to support accurate store listings.
- Manage Xenial (menu board) updates, ongoing maintenance, and ad-hoc requests.
- Coordinate media traffic management through Airtable in partnership with creative and media agency teams.
- Manage webinar schedules, cadence, uploads, and related infrastructure needs.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Consumer Insights, Communications or other related field of study preferred.
Work Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing, brand marketing, project management, communications, or a related business function.
- Experience supporting creative workflow, campaign execution, go-to-market coordination, asset management, or customer touchpoint optimization preferred.
Skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, follow-ups, and multiple workstreams with attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate creative workflows, collect and organize feedback, and translate direction into clear, actionable requests for internal and external partners.
- Understanding of brand marketing operations, including campaign execution, asset management, go-to-market planning, and customer touchpoint consistency.
- Ability to support customer journey mapping, identify gaps or opportunities, and help optimize messaging across in-store, digital, CRM, media, and franchisee-facing channels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate store-level details, campaign information, calendars, deliverable lists, and system inputs.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with brand, creative, media, operations, technology, and franchisee-facing partners to support timely and accurate execution.
- Clear and concise communication skills, including the ability to translate business, creative, digital, and POS requirements for varied audiences.
- Working knowledge of marketing tools, workflow systems, and campaign management platforms; experience with systems such as Airtable, Campaign Manager, FRM, or Xennial preferred (but not required, on-site training can be provided)
- Ability to review creative and campaign materials with a detail-oriented eye for accuracy, consistency, compliance, and brand alignment.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, manage competing deadlines, and remain planful and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
