Job Summary: This position is responsible for processing federal and/or state financial aid, communicating with students, and ensuring that students' customer service needs are addressed.
Minimum Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of experience, or a combination of experience and education sufficient to perform the duties of the job.
Licensing Requirements: Valid Driver's License; Compliance with PA ACT 15.
Hiring Range: Starting at $44,213.
Preferred Qualifications: Financial Aid experience preferred but not required.
Job Specific Tasks:
- Provide financial aid program support as assigned, working on cross-unit teams to address specific needs. (Essential)
- Process applications, award aid, verify documentation, intake forms, and reconcile aid. (Essential)
- Meet production targets and maintain accuracy. (Essential)
- Interpret federal aid regulations, make decisions, and resolve issues related to student aid. (Essential)
- Manage confidential documents, review forms, and guide students through processes. (Essential)
- Complete third-party paperwork and communicate with stakeholders. (Essential)
- Conduct outreach and educational programming for students and partners. (Essential)
- Assist students via multiple communication methods. (Essential)
- Develop expertise, stay current, and maintain confidentiality. (Essential)
- Build relationships with staff, faculty, and leadership. (Essential)
- Travel for meetings and training; participate in various financial aid activities; work evenings/weekends as needed. (Essential)
- Perform other duties as assigned. (Essential)
