Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID is seeking an Interventional Radiology Special Procedures Technologist for a day shift, full-time role. Under radiologist supervision, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures, ensure image quality, and document patient data.

Requirements include ARRT registration or registry-eligible (within 90 days), BLS within 14 days, ACLS within six months, and completion of a 6-lead EKG course within six months.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of Radiologist and CV Service Line Director, perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures.
• Produce quality images while applying radiation and safety measures.
• Collect patient data and document procedures.
• Perform all necessary special procedure radiographic procedures.
• Assist physicians with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of the CV Service Line, performs all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures.
• Produces quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
• Collects patient data and documents procedures.
• Performs all necessary special procedure radiographic procedures.
• Assists physicians with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Performance Improvement Participation.

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

• Certification and current registration for Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible, and must be obtained within 90-days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire and maintain as current .
• Attend a 6-lead EKG course within 6 months of hire.
