Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Pocatello, ID is seeking a day shift, full-time Interventional Radiology Special Procedures Technologist. Under radiologist supervision, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures and produce high-quality images.

You will ensure radiation safety, collect patient data, assist with fluoroscopic procedures, and participate in continuous improvement, with required certifications (ARRT, BLS, ACLS, EKG) to support outstanding patient care.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or registry-eligible must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer before direct patient care.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire and kept current.
• Attend a 6-lead EKG course within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Radiologist and CV Service Line Director, performs all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures.
• Produces quality images while applying radiation safety and patient safety measures.
• Collects patient data and documents procedures.
• Performs all necessary special procedure radiographic procedures.
• Assists physicians with fluoroscopic procedures.
• Performance Improvement Participation.
