Job summary

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• Certification and current registration for Radiologic Technologist (R) from the ARRT.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs routine diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Produce quality images while applying radiation safety measures.
• Collect patient data and document procedures.
• Perform radiographic procedures and assist with fluoroscopic procedures in surgery.
• Contribute to performance improvement.
• Primarily in Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Radiology, performs and/or assists with all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
• Produce quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
• Collect Patient Data and Document Procedure.
• Perform Radiographic Procedures.
• Assist Physicians with Fluoroscopic Procedures in Medical Imaging, endoscopy, and the operating room.
• Performance Improvement.
• This position will be primarily in Surgery

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
