Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho is seeking a day shift, full-time Radiology Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform diagnostic imaging under supervision, ensuring high-quality images while adhering to radiation safety standards, and you will collect patient data and document procedures.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, support for fluoroscopic procedures, and a strong commitment to performance improvement, with primary work in the Surgery

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• Certification and current registration with ARRT (R).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform and assist with routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
• Produce quality images while applying radiation and safety measures.
• Collect patient data and document procedures.
• Perform radiographic procedures as required.
• Assist physicians with fluoroscopic procedures in medical imaging, endoscopy, and OR.
• Engage in Performance Improvement activities.
• Position will be primarily in Surgery.

• Portneuf Medical Center (PMC) is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's Level II Trauma Center and tertiary referral hospital, and is home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue. Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Radiology, performs and/or assists with all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
• Produce quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
• Collect Patient Data and Document Procedure.
• Perform Radiographic Procedures.
• Assist Physicians with Fluoroscopic Procedures in Medical Imaging, endoscopy, and the operating room.
• Performance Improvement.
• This position will be primarily in Surgery

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• Certification and current registration for Radiologic Technologist (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
