StoneSprings Hospital Center, part of HCA Healthcare, invites a Special Procedures Technician to work across cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures. You will support patient care in a fast-paced Radiology department and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires AMA-approved education, ARRT registration, and BLS certification, with benefits and professional growth opportunities within the HCA network.

Formación

• Graduate of an AMA approved program.
• ARRT registration required.
• BLS certification required at hire; AHA and military certifications accepted)

Responsabilidades

• Perform all Special Procedures (Cardiac and Interventional Radiology) in strict accordance with department policies and procedures and comply with federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrates competency in IV access and IV contrast administration.
• Cares for patients in Radiology by checking IVs, catheters, tubing, airways, and monitoring equipment.
• Utilize proper sterile techniques in setting up and performing interventional procedures.
• Performs reconstructions/3-D imaging and post-procedure image review per protocol.
• Demonstrates competency in operating the power injector safely per department protocol.
• Properly enters charges for exams in RIS (Meditech) in a timely manner.
