Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Special Procedure Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures across the Mission Health system. You will scrub and circulate, operate angiographic equipment, and help ensure sterile technique while delivering high-quality radiographic images.

The role requires BCLS within 30 days, an Associate Degree, ARRT-R or ARRT-CI within 2 years, and about 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required.
• ARRT-R Radiography or ARRT-CI certification within 2 years of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Operate sterile angiographic equipment and maintain sterile technique.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing and circulating during procedures.
• Respond appropriately to emergent procedures such as Code Strokes with independent judgment.
