Job summary

YES Prep in Houston, TX seeks a Special Populations Compliance Specialist to manage IEPs, 504 plans, and Emergent Bilingual procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance and student equity.

The role coordinates ARD, LPAC, and 504 meetings, ensures timely documentation, and collaborates with families and school teams to support EB programs and data submissions.

This 11-month position offers meaningful impact within a growing YES Prep network and alignment with district and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience in Special Populations roles.
• Strong organizational and tracking abilities.
• Commitment to YES Prep mission and core values.
• Ability to handle high-pressure environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead ARD, 504, and LPAC meetings for caseloads of Special Populations students.
• Prepare and complete IEPs, 504 plans, and LPAC documentation.
• Monitor progress and ensure compliance timelines for ARD/504/LPAC activities.
• Collaborate with families, school teams, and external agencies to document compliance.
• Complete PEIMS submissions and related data entries.
