Job summary

Pennwood Cyber Charter School is seeking a Special Populations Compliance Specialist to oversee operational, administrative, and compliance systems for special education services across the school. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to four years of experience in education, compliance, school operations, or administrative systems management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• Strong written communication and digital literacy skills.
• Proficiency with digital systems and productivity platforms.
• Ability to manage sensitive student information and compliance documentation appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor special education compliance timelines for evaluations, reevaluations, and IEP implementation.
• Track compliance risks and ensure actions occur within mandated timelines.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation for evaluations and IEPs.
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics for IEP and evaluation meetings.
• Manage communications related to scheduling, reminders, and meetings; assist interpreters when needed.
• Support intake processes for referrals and evaluation requests.
• Maintain and monitor documentation across systems and provider assignments.
