Job summary

YES Prep Public Schools seeks a dynamic Special Education Manager-Secondary to lead a team of educators serving students with disabilities. You will coach Special Education teachers, ensure IEP goals are met, and collaborate with campus leaders to maintain rigorous, inclusive instruction aligned with YES Prep curriculum and state standards.

You will oversee professional development, support behavior and safety planning, and partner with administrators to create pathways for student achievement

Qualifications

• Experience leading Special Education teams and ensuring IEP compliance.
• Ability to coach teachers in differentiation and inclusive practices.
• Knowledge of curriculum design and alignment to state standards.

Responsibilities

• Set and monitor Special Education objectives aligned to campus priorities.
• Support teachers in meeting IEP goals and classroom growth.
• Co-observe and coach with Instructional Leadership to improve differentiation.
• Collaborate with instructional leaders to share best practices for students with disabilities.
• Plan and deliver professional learning on differentiation and inclusion.
• Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans and Student Safety Plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure rigorous instruction for all students.
