Qualifications

• Must have, or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• An associate degree or commensurate level of training in mental health fields.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a psychiatric technician.
• Must maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Education/training may be military or civilian in nature.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of behavioral health interventions from prevention to treatment under supervision of licensed professionals.
• Conduct intakes and assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients.
• Lead prescribed individual or group therapy sessions under the guidance of a licensed mental health professional.
• Collect and maintain monthly statistical data and prepare reports for program operations.
