Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Ops Psychological/Mental Health Technician at 492 SOW/Hurlburt Field, FL to support outpatient behavioral health activities under licensed supervision. The role includes intake, treatment support, data collection, and coordination with providers to enhance care delivery.

Responsibilities emphasize safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct while assisting in therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records and scheduling for the military community.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Associate degree or commensurate level of training.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a psychiatric technician.
• Attend psychiatric technicians’ training to support psychology/social work.
• Attend training to intervene and restrain violent or potentially violent patients.
• Maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Provide proof of all training/certs/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of behavioral health interventions under supervision.
• Conduct intakes and assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients.
• Lead individual or group therapy sessions under licensed mental health professional.
• Maintain monthly statistical data and prepare reports.
• Prepare and maintain clinical appointment templates and open/closed case reports.
• Interface with family support organizations and coordinate Case Review Committee activities.
• Develop program operating instructions and recommend improvements.
• Ensure budget compliance and efficient program operations.
