Job summary

KBR, Inc is recruiting a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to support the POTFF program for DoD personnel and families. The role is on-site, within a unit, providing clinical counseling, screenings, and case management with a spectrum of evidence-based therapies.

Candidates must hold LMFT or LPC credentials, have a master’s degree in behavioral sciences, and meet credentialing standards. A Secret/Top-Secret clearance is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain certification where

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in behavioral sciences and able to meet credentialing standards.
• LMFT requires COAMFTE-accredited program or equivalent with AAMFT credential.
• LPC requires NCMHCE or equivalent exam and CACREP-accredited degree.
• Must possess a state license for independent practice as LMFT or LPC.
• Clearance: ability to obtain and maintain Secret or Top-Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies, conduct screenings, clinical counseling and case management.
• Serve as a point of contact for behavioral health services for DoD personnel and families.
• Provide a spectrum of behavioral health interventions including interviews, assessments and therapies.
• Plan, develop and implement programs to foster positive relationships within family structures and units.
• Promote and maintain communication within the unit, POTFF program, and external agencies.
