Job summary

CACI is seeking a 1st Special Forces Command Lessons Learned Analyst to join the USASOC Lessons Learned Program. The role focuses on transforming raw operational data into validated lessons that shape future doctrine, training, and leader development.

You will aggregate trends, enable cross-unit standardization of TTPs, and draft strategic reports for higher headquarters while maintaining seamless information flow between tactical collectors and strategic analysts.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Graduate of service-component Special Operations qualification course (Army Special Forces/Ranger/Psychological Operations/Civil Affairs, Navy SEAL/SWCC, Marine CSO/MSOC, or Air Force Special Tactics).
• Experience directly supporting or serving on the staff of a General Officer level command (such as USASOC, 1st Special Forces Command, USAJFKSWCS, or Theater SO Command).
• Knowledge of portals and real-time knowledge management systems.
• Knowledge of Army SOF Command structure and doctrine for targeted dissemination of observations and lessons.
• Ability to prepare collection plans and gather data via interviews/observation.
• Ability to write detailed reports and deliver briefings to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Central node for the operating force, receiving and synthesizing lessons learned from subordinate units.
• Standardize TTPs across subordinate groups and facilitate cross-pollination.
• Draft comprehensive operational trend assessments and capability gap reports for higher headquarters.
• Serve as link between tactical data collectors and strategic analysts, ensuring proactive information sharing.
