Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Special Operations Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join the HQ AFSOC team at Hurlburt Field, FL. The role focuses on the ongoing welfare of service members and their families with a priority on suicide prevention and resilience.

The position requires an MSW, unrestricted license, and the ability to obtain necessary security clearances. The incumbent will conduct assessments, therapy, and collaboration with military partners.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Secret or Top Secret clearance, or ability to obtain.
• MSW/MSSW/MSSA from CSWE-accredited program.
• Current unrestricted clinical social work license in any U.S. state, DC, Puerto Rico or USVI.
• Credentialing in good standing at a local MTF.
• At least two years of peer-reviewed clinical social work in mental health.
• Knowledge of professional standards and ethics in clinical social work.
• Experience in brief behavioral interventions.
• May require clinical privileges.
• Fluent English (oral and written).
• Maintain current BCLS certification; provide proof.

Responsibilities

• Engage in quality improvement and staff meetings.
• Conduct applied research and clinical investigations in clinical/behavioral health/social work.
• Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders and school districts as required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and produce reports of evaluation/treatment.
• Participate in military training; may supervise unlicensed providers or trainees.
• Perform DoD/service required training and assess treatment adherence; address barriers; educate patients; maintain EMR notes; case management.
