Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Operations Licensed Clinical Social Worker (GSU/Southern Pines) to support POTFF, focused on optimizing readiness and holistic health for SOF service members and families at Fort Bragg area. This role emphasizes integration of physical, mental, and psychological wellness within multi-domain teams.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, a valid MSW and LCSW, and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
• Current, unrestricted clinical license to independently practice social work in any U.S. state.
• Must maintain credentialing requirements in good standing at a local MTF.
• Two years of peer-reviewable clinical social work experience in mental health settings.
• Experience with brief behavioral interventions.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• May be required to receive and maintain clinical practice privileges.

Responsibilities

• Engage in quality improvement meetings and conferences.
• Conduct applied research and clinical investigations in clinical/behavioral health/organizational social work.
• Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders and school districts as required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment.
• Participate in military-specific training; may supervise unlicensed providers or trainees.
• Perform DoD/service-required training and contact referred patients to assess treatment adherence.
• Use validated symptom inventories to assess symptom severity and barriers to adherence.
• Provide patient education on mental health conditions and treatment; maintain patient registry and EMRs.
• Staff difficult cases with referring providers and perform case management.
