Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Operations Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Cannon AFB, NM to integrate the physical, mental and psychological wellness of service members and their families under POTFF to optimize readiness. The role involves conducting interviews, behavioral assessments, and evidence-based therapies, coordinating with medical staff, commanders, and schools, and supervising trainees as needed.

Eligibility requires U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent degree from CSWE-accredited program.
• Current unrestricted clinical license to practice social work in the U.S.
• Credentialing in good standing at a local MTF.
• Minimum 2 years of peer-reviewed clinical social work in mental health.
• Knowledge of professional standards/ethics in social work.
• Experience in brief behavioral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Engage in quality improvement and staff meetings.
• Conduct applied research and clinical investigations in social work.
• Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, commanders, and school districts as required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and generate reports.
• Participate in military-specific training and supervise unlicensed providers if needed.
• Perform case management and related duties.
