Qualifications

• Must meet NCLB paraprofessional requirements (60 college credits/ASSOC/para cert).
• At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Valid South Carolina CDL with limited points; DUI rules may apply.
• Maintain DOT Physical; complete required training for School Bus Driver.
• Pass PPT and periodic behind‑the‑wheel assessments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students on bus and ensure timely, safe transport.
• Keep accurate records, time sheets, and mileage reports.
• Drive bus safely following state and county guidelines.
• Establish professional relationships with students and parents.
• Maintain cleanliness of bus and equipment.
