Responsibilities

• Maintains a classroom environment conducive to learning and supports physical, social, and emotional development of students.
• Assists with adapting and implementing teacher-directed plans for each student's needs.
• Manages student behavior and crisis intervention as needed.
• Provides emotional support to children during distress, transitions, and learning.
• Participates in trainings to enhance job performance and knowledge.
• Aids in communication between parents, families and staff.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform mobility tasks as required.
• Assists in transportation of selected students.
