Job summary

Illinois Education Job Bank is seeking a paraprofessional to provide instructional support under the supervision of certified teachers. You will assist with small group and individualized instruction and help prepare for classroom activities.

You will also help implement IEPs, support daily living activities, monitor medical needs, and handle data entry and filing. Training time is set before/after school, with adherence to all school policies.

Qualifications

Must hold a professional educator license or a license with an endorsement as a Paraprofessional through the Illinois State Board of Education or eligible to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Provide instructional services under supervision of certified teachers.
Provide small group and individualized support and preparation for classroom activities.
Assist teachers with implementation of Individual Education Program (IEP).
Assist with daily living activities and monitor medical needs of students.
Data entry and filing; assist with emergencies as needed.
Utilize time before and after school to complete trainings and prepare for daily tasks.
Adhere to school policies and procedures and complete other essential duties.
