Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma is required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Two years of study at higher education or an associate degree is acceptable for Title I assignments.
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training provided by the District.
• Medication administration training provided by the District as needed.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Follow IEPs, maintain progress records, and report observations to the IEP team.
• Assist with materials, testing, attendance, and classroom events as needed.
• Support online/remote learning by guiding curriculum and technology use.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
