Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe disabilities under licensed staff supervision. You will assist with curriculum, behavior strategies, and small-group instruction, prepare materials, and monitor progress in both in-person and remote learning settings.

This role requires following IEPs, implementing accommodations, helping with daily living skills, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency diploma required.
• IEP experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with students with diverse needs.
• Mandatory background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum to individual needs.
• Implement IEP accommodations and monitor progress with licensed staff.
• Prepare materials and help with tests, attendance, and documentation.
• Assist with online learning activities and technology support when needed.
