Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with significant disabilities under licensed staff supervision. You will assist with curriculum, skill development, behavior strategies, and daily tasks, including preparation of instructional materials and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• High school equivalency or higher required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention training required by District.
• Medication administration training provided by the District as needed.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum to individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Assist with materials preparation, tests, attendance, and classroom events.
• Assist with online/remote learning activities and technolgy troubleshooting.
