Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff supervision. You will work with individuals and small groups on curriculum, behavior strategies, and skill development, and help prepare instructional materials.

In both in-person and remote learning contexts, you will assist with technology access, monitoring progress, and maintaining achievement records.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work with students with severe needs.

Responsabilités

• Assist students with classroom activities, adapting curriculum for individual needs.
• Maintain progress and behavior records with licensed staff.
• Prepare materials and assist with tests and attendance.
• Support online/remote learning and help with technology.
• Assist with supervision during drills and classroom events.
