Job summary

Cherry Creek School District seeks a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe needs under licensed staff. You will assist with curriculum, skill development, behavior strategies, and progress tracking.

Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, implementing IEP requirements, and providing technical care to maintain a safe, hygienic learning environment. Remote learning support may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with students one-on-one and in small groups.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum to needs.
• Implement IEP-supported accommodations and document progress.
• Prepare materials and assist with tests, attendance, and events.
• Provide assistance in online/remote settings when assigned.
