Job summary

Sittercity Incorporated in Maine is seeking a long-term, dependable caregiver for our family. Primary support is for our almost 12-year-old with high support needs while parents work (one works from home so you’d always have backup!).

Outside those hours, you would provide respite care to help with errands and take our 3- and 6-year-olds out for activities; you would never be responsible for older and younger children at the same time. Comfort with ASD or mental/behavioral health is a must.

Job description

We are looking for long-term, dependable care. Primary support is for our almost 12 year old with high support needs, while parents work (1 works from home so you’d always have backup!). Outside of those primary hours (after school during school weeks and during work day on Maine vacation/summer months) we would look to this person to offer some respite care for parents to do errands/take our 3 and 6 year olds out and some sibling care (you would never be independently responsible for older child and the younger children at the same time). Comfort with ASD or mental/behavioral health is a must. This would be a salaried position with some PTO.
