Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a Special Needs Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Indiana, PA and surrounding communities. You will provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live independently, engage in daily activities, and participate in home and community life.

Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, with paid training and flexible scheduling. No experience?

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals are sought.
• Experience with individuals with special needs is preferred but not required.
• Paid training is provided.

• Build meaningful relationships through companionship and engagement.
• Assist with daily routines and life skills development.
• Support participation in hobbies, recreation, and community activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and outings.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social connections.
• Provide light meal preparation and household assistance as needed.
