Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Special Needs Caregivers (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Lehigh County, PA. You will provide one-on-one in home and community support, mentoring and companionship to help clients build life skills and independence.

We offer flexible part-time schedules, competitive pay ranging from $17 to $19 per hour, and mileage reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• One year experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Ability to provide transportation to and from appointments, errands and community outings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming).
• Provide clients with transportation on errands, appointments and community outings.
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Special Needs Caregivers (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) throughout Lehigh County, PA.

In this rewarding role, you'll provide one-on-one support in home and community settings, serving as both a mentor and companion while helping individuals build life skills, gain independence, and achieve their personal goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact as a Special Needs Caregiver (DSP):

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Provide clients with transportation on errands, appointments and community outings
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities
