Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Special Needs Caregiver to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help clients participate in community activities, build confidence, and work toward independence with a compassionate, person-centered approach.

This role offers flexible part-time schedules, weekly pay, and the chance to make a real difference.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to community activities.
• Apprentice training program may be available to help you start your career.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible.

We are currently hiring Special Needs Caregivers in the following areas:

• Greensboro, NC and the surrounding areas!

What You'll Do as a Special Needs Caregiver:

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible

Pay & Schedule

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour

• Weekly pay
• Flexible part-time schedules
• Multiple shifts available
• Work close to home
