Job summary

Alloy Surfaces Company (ASC) in the United States seeks a Special Material (SM) Operator II to run coating, furnace, and recoil operations, ensuring safety, quality, and traceability in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow SOPs, operate equipment, and collaborate with technicians and supervisors to maintain specifications and quality control across materials. A high school diploma and manufacturing experience are required, with security clearance eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Eligible to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow SOPs, training, and work instructions.
• Follow safety requirements for material handling and waste disposal.
• Operate coating, furnace, and recoil machines to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with area supervisor to ensure equipment setup is correct.
• Label material produced accurately for traceability.
• Inspects equipment and maintains set points within tolerance.
• Learn segregation of material to prevent cross-contamination.
• Contribute to housekeeping and safe operations.
