Job summary

Alloy Surfaces Company (ASC) is hiring a Special Material Loading Technician II to operate Autoloader equipment and related processes in a fast-paced manufacturing enviroment. The role emphasizes precision assembly, tool operation, and adherence to SOPs.

The candidate should have a HS diploma, 3+ years in manufacturing (defense/aerospace preferred), and be able to read blueprints and use calipers. A U.S. government security clearance is required or attainable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace or defense.
• Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics for complex builds.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity with small components.

Responsibilities

• Operate Autoloader Payoff and middle positions per SOPs.
• Use caliper to verify material dimensions and ensure conformance.
• Inspect assemblies with a microscope and maintain clean Autoloader tracks.
• Label empty flare cases and assist with maintenance requests.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper disposal of scrap materials.
• Support development of manufacturing work instructions.
