Job summary

Alloy Surfaces Company (ASC) seeks a Senior Special Material (SM) Machine Operator to train and operate production equipment across front-end processes, including coating, furnace, recoil, and leach, supporting safe, efficient manufacturing in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least five years in manufacturing and 3–5 years in countermeasure assembly or defense, with the ability to interpret blueprints, monitor tank parameters, and maintain high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum five years of manufacturing experience with defense/countermeasure assembly exposure.

Responsibilities

• Train new SM Machine Operators using SOPs and SOP training materials.
• Operate semi auto leach equipment to produce all SM types.
• Collaborate with area supervisor and maintenance to set leach tank parameters.
• Monitor leach tank concentration and temperature per SOP.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and housekeeping practices.
• Ensure PPE availability and proper wear and tear of tools while manufacturing.
