Job summary

Alloy Surfaces Company (ASC) is seeking a Special Material (SM) Machine Operator I to operate coating room equipment and support front end processes, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a high-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires following SOPs, reading blueprints for complex builds, and labeling materials for traceability, with emphasis on safety and housekeeping throughout the coating area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions in SOPs and work instructions
• Must be able to follow safety requirements (PPE) associated with material handling, equipment operations and waste disposal
• Must be able to understand and perform all duties required or assigned for special material coating
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics for complex builds

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in the coating room
• Cross-train to front end process areas such as furnace, recoil, and leach
• Label material produced for traceability
• Maintain good housekeeping in coating room and assigned areas
• Adhere to safety requirements and company policies
