Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conducts preliminary and supplemental investigations of felony and serious misdemeanor crimes.
• Conducts crime scene investigations including evidence collection and documentation.
• Prepares felony case files for prosecutors and testifies in court.
• Participates in narcotics investigations and task forces; handles high-risk warrant apprehensions.
• Performs the duties of a Police Officer when not assigned to investigations.
