Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment, including the House of Blues venues, is seeking energetic servers for dinners and events. You will interact with guests, set up service areas, and provide attentive food and drink service in a dynamic environment.

Requirements include a CA Food Handlers Card, 2–5 years of high-volume experience, knowledge of wine and liquor, and a friendly, multitasking approach to handling multiple tables during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• CA Food Handlers Card required.
• 2–5 years high-volume restaurant operations experience.
• Working knowledge of high-volume operations and safe, responsible alcohol service.
• Standard food preparation/presentation.
• Strong guest relations skills.
• Wine & liquor knowledge.
• Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently with a friendly attitude.
• High School Diploma required.
• Point of Sale knowledge, MICROS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up for events by arranging table settings and buffet setup.
• Serve guests and carry plates on trays in a courteous manner.
• Keep glasses filled and replenish utensils as needed.
• Perform opening, running, and closing duties per policy.
• Respond to guest needs and resolve concerns with a positive attitude.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Support other servers or staff as needed.
