Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking an Events Logistics Associate to join the Special Events team in Boone, NC. The role focuses on coordinating logistics for events, including registration, lodging, shipping, and A/V needs, to ensure smooth execution.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field with 3+ years of corporate events experience and familiarity with Cvent or similar software. Excellent communication and time-management skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality and Tourism, Public Relations, or related field with 3+ years of corporate events experience.
• 3+ years' experience managing events aspects (travel, housing, venue management, food & beverage).
• Experience with Cvent or related event management software.
• Highly effective communication and time management skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task and manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support logistics before and after events, including registration management, shipping, setup/teardown, lodging, meals, A/V needs and other details.
• Support registration processes and attendee communication through event pages, confirmation emails, and mobile app content.
• Support guest correspondence through the Special Events email account and call-in registrations.
• Participate in regular meetings to review logistics and confirm operational details.
• Support presenters and performers with program preparation and on-site needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
