Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Boone, NC is seeking an Events Logistics Associate to join the Special Events team. The role supports logistics before and after events, including registration management, shipping, setup and teardown, lodging, meals, and A/V needs to ensure successful execution.

Responsibilities include managing attendee communications, coordinating with speakers and guests, and participating in regular logistics meetings to address operational details.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality and Tourism, Public Relations, or related field and three or more years of related corporate events experience preferred
• Three or more years' experience managing aspects related to events (travel, housing, venue management, food and beverage) strongly preferred
• Experience with Cvent or related event management software preferred
• Highly effective communication and time management skills
• Proven ability to multi-task, manage stakeholder expectations, and keep projects moving

Responsibilities

• Support logistics before and after events, including registration management, shipping, setup and teardown, lodging, meals, audio/visual needs, and other key details to ensure successful execution.
• Support registration processes and attendee communication through the event pages, confirmation emails, and mobile app content to keep information accurate and timely.
• Support guest correspondence through the Special Events email account and call-in registrations.
• Participate in regular meetings to review logistics and confirm operational details are addressed.
• Support presenters and performers with program preparation and on-site needs.
• All other duties as assigned
