Job summary

Provo City is seeking a part-time Recreation Lead to join the Special Events team at the Provo Recreation Center. You will assist the Special Events Coordinator in preparing for and managing events, plus develop engaging materials and social media content to promote programs to the public.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, some event planning or marketing experience, and a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• Event-planning experience preferred.
• Social media and marketing experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, implement, and evaluate assigned recreational special events.
• Develop registration forms, policies and practices with operations staff.
• Establish and maintain event schedules and communicate updates.
• Provide feedback on participation and effectiveness to supervisors.
• Create digital, print, and graphic materials aligned with brand guidelines.
• Manage and schedule social media content and coordinate volunteers.
